New Activity Schedule 2024
The art therapy open studio is a model of art therapy that is more art based and less psychotherapy based. The open studio practice allows participants to work at their own pace, regulate their interactions with other participants according to their abilities, and use the group and the space according to their needs. This is a safe space to explore an artistic interest or express yourself non verbally through the use of art materials. There is always option to discuss your art work if you wish, but no obligation to do so. You may make 1 image or object – or ten! No artistic skill is required.
The art therapy open studio can help with social inclusion, self-expression, self-esteem and confidence, relaxation, communication, connection and well-being.
We are currently planning this event and dates.venue will be confirmed in due course.
We are a new group looking to support young people through the power
of drama and movement. We strive to help you embrace the fun and
freedom of theatre.
Our introductory workshops put you at the centre and focus on creating a
positive and open creative space. We will work together to explore the
power of story-telling through games, movement and improvisation. Our
