Operating from our wellness centre head offices in Northampton (UK), retail shops, and outreach venues Pink Rooster charity has established itself as one of the region’s leading charitable organisations providing music, creative arts, therapies, and education, to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and groups living with life-limiting mental and physical health barriers.
Our work also extends into Bedfordshire and 2024 also saw the expansion of our operations into Huntingdonshire.
Since 2024 our work has been focused on supporting young care leavers aged 16 to 25 through collaboration and partnership working with local specialist support organisations and charities. Our work includes supporting young care leavers on their pathway to independent living by developing transferable skills through volunteering and work experience and improving mental health and social skills through various creative, mentoring, and peer support activities.
The charity is governed by its board of trustees and day-to-day operations and service delivery, are managed and co-ordinated jointly by the founders, Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer.
We have a highly experienced and professional team of staff, volunteers, trustees and facilitators from a wide range of disciplines and with the benefit of lived experience enables us to tailor our services to meet the needs of our beneficiary groups.
We are constantly seeking funding to support our charitable objectives and all donations received by Pink Rooster and our primary purpose trading operations are used to support our beneficiaries.
Access to our services can be by referral from a range of sources including GP’s, social prescribers, health care professionals, support groups and organisations etc
Individuals can self-refer or be referred by a carer or family member. Please contact us at info@pinkrooster.org if you or a person you know would like to be referred.

The mental health number has been designed to be the only number you need to call for mental health support in the county.
Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) and the mental health charity Mind have collaborated to launch 24/7 mental health support number for the people of the county. When someone calls, a trained member of staff will find the right support for them, whether this is from the NHS; the voluntary and community sector; or advice over the telephone.
