Assistive Technology

Assistive technology is a term that is used to include assistive, adaptive, and rehabilitative devices for people with cognitive and physical disabilities. Assistive technology promotes greater independence by enabling people to perform tasks that they were formerly unable to accomplish, or had great difficulty accomplishing, by providing enhancements to, or changing methods of interacting with, the technology needed to accomplish such tasks.
Assistive technology can play an important part in improving the lives of those with mental or physical barriers and in particular those living with the effects of dementia.

We are continually seeking new and innovative products and are looking to expand our range in the near future and are currently pleased to be able to offer the new ‘Simple Music Player’, and ‘BLYS’ Night Light Tray, ideal for those living with dementia and other cognitive and physical barriers.

Please visit our products page for more information and prices. We are able to offer package deals to care homes and other healthcare establishments and will be pleased to discuss your requirements.

The Simple Music Player and BLYS Night Light Tray can also be subsidised or provided without charge in some cases, where specific need and lack of financial support is identified.

If you are trying to locate a specific item of assistive technology that we do not show on our website, we would be more than happy to help you source it, please contact us with your requirements.
