The Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation is an award/grant maker supporting local community groups and charities. It encourages philanthropy and its funds come from local businesses and individuals and from national charities and organisations which recognise our skills and local knowledge.

The Big Lottery Fund awards grants to UK organisations to help improve their communities. It is responsible for distributing 40 per cent of all funds raised for good causes by the UK National Lottery.

The Clothworkers Foundation was set up by The Clothworkers Company in 1977 and aims to improve the lives of people and communities, particularly those facing disadvantage.

Northamptonshire Community Foundation is an independent charity that distributes much-needed and life-changing grants to voluntary and community groups in Northamptonshire – including youth and breakfast clubs, support groups for the elderly and vulnerable, cycling and football clubs, disability support groups, environmental projects, healthy eating initiatives and many more. Their grants make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of people in Northamptonshire and, since its launch in 2002, Northamptonshire Community Foundation has awarded nearly £5million to 290 groups.

The Northamptonshire County Council seed funding for innovative community projects programme will offer individual grants of £1,000 to £10,000 for projects that are all about improving health and wellbeing, helping people take charge of their life and making a difference.
